Rules for entries in this web site (www.scottieinfo.de) as set forth by the Scottish Terrier Förderverein
- Images
All pictures are provided by the owners of the respective dogs for publication on this web site
The photos must have a resolution of min. 72 dpi and a size of 300x300 pixel. Photos sent in as printouts will be scanned. We can not warrant for the quality of the scanned image.
The selection of the images shown on the site, particularly the general areas, are the sole responsibility of the ScT-Förderverein. In the selection process, we will not only take the image quality into account, but we also want to make sure to display a balanced view of the Scottish Terrier population.
- Events
On the events page, all events will be shown which the Förderverein knows or will be informed of. In any case, the Förderverein will check the relevance of the event for Scottish Terriers.
- Show Results
All breed results for Scottish Terriers achieved at German shows will be displayed. Dogs will only be mentioned by name, with no champion title indication. Entered, but not shown dogs will not be mentioned. The data as contained in the show catalogs are used as the basis. Nonofficial titles awarded at the day of show, e.g. Rheinlandsieger, will not be mentioned. Additional awards beyond the German show rules, e.g. Best Male, Best Junior, will only be mentioned if officially awarded at the specific show.
On the “Highlights” page, results from the main ring (Ring of Honor) will be presented as far as they brought to the knowledge of the web master (for shows outside Germany, only CACIB shows are covered for dogs with German ownership). Additionally, BOB and other winners of specific shows of wider importance, e.g. World Dog Show, FCI European Dog Show, Crufts. It is the responsibility of the owner to communicate such results to the webmaster. They owner shall provide a photo of the dog.
The presentation starts Jan. 1, 2007 and will generally cover the past 12 months.
- Champions
As soon as the title conformation available to the Förderverein, every Club Champion title will be shown on the Junior Champion and Club Champion pages. It is the responsibility of the owner to send the conformation. The owner should also provide a photo of the dog for display.
Dogs with other champion titles, e.g. VDH Champion, foreign champion titles, official day awards, will be displayed on the “Other Champions” page, in addition to the aforementioned Club Champion pages. This page also covers the winners of German title shows, e.g. Club Winner, Bundes Winner, VDH-European Winner, Scottie-Special.
For each entry we mention: Date of title, dogs name, parents, DOB, breeder, owner, additional titles (as far as confirmed by documentation), photo

- Breeders List
Breeder members of the Förderverein will be displayed automatically at no charge.
The entry contains kennel name, breeder’s name (according to official documentation) address (city only), phone no., e-mail (if applicable), home page (if applicable) and a link to the litter page if there is a current litter.
- Litters/ Young Dogs
Litters will be displayed if advised by the (listed) breeder. This also includes upcoming litters with the expected due date. The entry is free of charge.
The entry includes kennel name, breeder’s name, address, parents, litter size (m/f) and color as well as a link to the breeders list.
Any entry is valid for three months after DOB provided the breeder does not ask for termination or prolongation. The maximum period for litters is 6 months.
Young dogs over 6 months old may be shown on the “Young Dogs” page if the breeders asks for it. The maximum age for young dogs is 18 months.
- Links
The Link pages contains links to member’s homepages as well as clubs and organizations (including international links) in support of the breed. Member links contain a special indicator in case they own a club-approved stud dog. Links to foreign breeders or owners will not be shown.
Homepages of businesses will only be linked if they are sponsoring members of the club. As far as other interesting homepages are concerned, it is at the discretion of the board.
- General
All personal entries will contain a special indicator for members of the Scottish Terrier Förderverein.
